1. What We collect
When you enter a Campaign, we collect your name, email address, phone number,
and your assigned ticket number.
2. Donations
Donations/authorisations are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.
3. Why We Use Data
We use your details to administer Campaign entries, provide support, prevent fraud/abuse,
and keep an audit trail of entries.
4. Sharing
We may share entry information with the relevant Campaign organiser/charity solely for Campaign administration,
and with service providers (e.g., Stripe) as required to operate the platform.
5. Skill / Multiple-Choice Questions
Where enabled for a campaign, we may present a multiple-choice question that must be answered correctly before you proceed. Your selected answer may be processed to determine whether you can continue. We do not use this information for profiling or marketing. Where session controls are used (e.g. attempt limits), this information is typically stored temporarily and cleared when you complete or restart the entry process.
6. Lawful Basis
We process personal data to perform our contract with you when you enter a campaign (for example, to administer your entry and contact you if needed). We may also process data where it is in our legitimate interests to operate and secure the platform, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain audit trails, and improve reliability. Where we send non-essential communications (if any), we will do so only in accordance with applicable law.
7. International Transfers (Stripe)
Stripe may process personal data (including payment-related data) in locations outside the UK. Where this occurs, Stripe applies appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Please refer to Stripe’s privacy documentation for more information.
8. Retention
We retain entry records (such as name, email, phone (if provided), ticket number, timestamps, and payment reference IDs) for as long as necessary to administer campaigns, handle disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain an audit trail. Retention periods may vary by campaign and by legal requirement.
9. Your Rights
You may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to data portability in certain circumstances. These rights are not absolute and may depend on the context and applicable law.
10. Complaints
If you have concerns, please contact us first so we can try to resolve them.
11. Contact
For privacy queries, please contact Get My Number using the contact email address: getmynumberfundraise@gmail.com. Campaign organisers/charities may also act as independent controllers of your data for their own purposes where they receive your entry details for campaign administration.
12. Cookies and Basic Logs
We may use essential cookies or similar technologies required for site operation (such as maintaining sessions). Our servers may also log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) for security, diagnostics, and fraud prevention.
