How Get My Number Works
A simple, transparent flow where a temporary hold is first taken, then you confirm your donation amount.
Step 1
Enter your Details
Choose your charity and enter your name, email and phone number.
Step 2
Multiple-Choice Question
Some campaigns include a multiple-choice question before you proceed.
When enabled, you will be required to answer the question correctly before continuing.
Step 3
Temporary Card Hold
You will be redirected to our secure Stripe checkout where a temporary hold
is placed on your card. This is an authorisation only – no money is taken at this point.
There is a free postal route option at this step.
Step 4
Receive your Ticket Number
Once the hold is confirmed, you are redirected back to Get My Number and assigned
a unique ticket number for your chosen charity.
Step 5
Confirm your Donation
You confirm your donation for an amount equal to your ticket number to support the charity.
We capture only this amount from the original card hold.
Step 6
Remaining Hold is Released
Any difference between the original hold and your ticket amount is released
by your bank. It may take a few days to release depending on your bank.
